Microsoft 365 users faced unexpected disruptions this morning, with many unable to access core services like Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Reports of the outage began surfacing around 7:30 AM, with Downdetector, a website monitoring service outages, recording nearly 600 complaints.

The platform "Down For Everyone or Just Me" also confirmed problems, citing issues with Outlook starting two hours ago and disruptions with Microsoft 365 beginning about 40 minutes prior. Users attempting to access Outlook encountered an error message stating, “Your request can’t be completed right now.”

Microsoft Responds

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Microsoft acknowledged the issue, saying, “We're investigating an issue impacting users attempting to access Exchange Online or functionality within Microsoft Teams calendar. For more information, please refer to MO941162 in the admin centre.”
