Meta’s Threads to Launch Website Next week: Report

Mark Zuckerberg's Meta is poised to launch a web version of its microblogging tool Threads next week, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

The move is intended to revive the app's waning popularity and take on rivals like Elon Musk's X Corp.

The desktop version of Threads is anticipated to launch this week early in response to user requests for a more flexible platform.

The text-only social media app first attracted notice when it was released in July, but usage has since declined as users lament the lack of necessary functionality, such as a complete web version.
