LeBron & Bronny James Make NBA History as 1st Father-Son Duo

LeBron James and his son Bronny created a historic moment on Sunday, becoming the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game.

The two took the court for the Los Angeles Lakers' pre-season matchup against the Phoenix Suns in Palm Desert, California, earning thunderous applause from fans.

The milestone came in the second quarter when Bronny, who had just turned 20, joined his dad, LeBron, on the floor. LeBron, entering his 22nd NBA season, set up a play for Bronny, but the younger James missed a 3-point attempt.

LeBron shone with 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 16 minutes, while Bronny, in 13 minutes, contributed two rebounds but struggled with turnovers. Despite their efforts, the Lakers fell to the Suns 118-114.

Bronny, drafted by the Lakers after one season at USC, had overcome a health scare last year but has returned to action. With this historic game, the James duo is redefining family legacies in the NBA.
