Job Vacancies in Expo 2020 Dubai

Expo 2020 is just around the corner as it will commence in October 1^st 2020, and with that in mind, a lot of positions are needed to make it a successful event. Here’s a list of Expo 2020 available jobs with estimated salaries.

The jobs are not with Dubai Expo authority but rather governments and countries' pavilions. All numbers are from their recruiters.

Some jobs are to begin as soon as the start of next month, while others will start a week before the doors to the Dubai South site open in October.

Salaries range from Dh10,000 ($2,722) a month for a receptionist to Dh40,000 for a senior manager.

France pavilion

There are 20 available positions for hosts and hostesses and an intern,

American Pavilion

The US pavilion is hiring people for positions in management and administration, operations and logistics, media and communications, hospitality, customer service and retail.

Canadian Pavilion

According to The National, the Canadian pavilion has positions such as hosts and minibus drivers. There are currently 41 positions however recruiters are aiming to hire Canadian citizens who are UAE residents.

Estimated salary and tasks

Applicants should carry Canadian citizenship and has enough knowledge of the country’s history.

A hosting staff co-ordinator at the Canada pavilion could earn about Dh17,050 a month.

A protocol and events officer will earn around Dh11,200 a month. The officer is required to welcome dignitaries, provide information about Canada, and handle dinners and media events.

Poland Pavilion

Applicants should have university degrees and be fluent in English and can be from anywhere in the world or a UAE resident.

Roles in the logistics section are available. They include a logistics expert for Food presentations, food certificates, and permission from local authorities. Another position for a logistics expert is to assist with visas, arrangements for accommodation, SIM cards, catering and guest transport.

An administration specialist at the commissioner’s office to handle the commissioner general’s meetings, correspondence and secretarial duties is also needed,

Also, a responsible for temporary exhibitions position is available. The person will involve close co-operation with the marshal's office of Polish districts, looking after business delegations and assembling and taking down the temporary exhibitions.
