It's that time of year again! The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival is returning to the Sharjah Expo Center for its 2025 edition. The festival will run from April 23 to May 4 and feature various exciting activities.
Here are the fun activities you should add to your itinerary when visiting the festival:
Sherlock Holmes Traveling Exhibition
If you love mysteries and whodunnits, you will love the Sherlock Holmes Traveling Exhibition. It will feature over 25 hands-on activities and more than 200 original artifacts, which will take you back to the 19th-century.
The highlights of the exhibition will include the study of British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a 1890s Science Train Station, 221B Baker Street, and the chance to help Holmes solve a mystery.
Live Cooking Shows
Get your kids to enjoy the flavors of the world at the festival's live cooking shows. The chefs hosting the cooking shows include Albert Niazhvinski, Patrick Zeinali, Chef Stephen, Karima Hazim, and Radhika Howarth.
Workshops
The Children's Reading Festival will be the perfect opportunity for your children to pick up creative skills, including cooking and art. The festival will host a series of cooking workshops and a series of scientific and artistic workshops.
