With Eid Al Fitr drawing near, Muslims are gearing up for the festive occasion following the conclusion of Ramadan 2024. The announcement from the authorities confirms that Eid Al Fitr will commence on April 10, Wednesday, with the absence of the sighting of the moon the previous night.

In line with the National Centre of Meteorology’s forecast, the UAE anticipates partly cloudy weather with the possibility of light rainfall on Tuesday. The weather outlook hints at favorable conditions for the festivities, with a transition from mild spring weather to warmer temperatures.

Insight into UAE's Weather Forecast

Dr. Ahmed Habib, a climate specialist from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), provided insights into the country's weather patterns during this period. He highlighted a decrease in humidity throughout April, particularly in the latter half of the month. Additionally, he mentioned the likelihood of fog and mist formation, mainly in the initial weeks, which is expected to decrease as the month progresses.

Tuesday, April 9:

Expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with a chance of light rainfall, especially in western areas. Temperatures are set to decrease, accompanied by light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds.

Wednesday, April 10:

The day is anticipated to be partly cloudy, with cloudy spells in certain coastal and southern regions. Temperatures will rise, and light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds are expected.

Thursday, April 11:

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are forecasted, with a possibility of rainfall in coastal, northern, and eastern areas. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, with occasional freshening.
