DXB Limits Arriving Flights for 48 Hours

Dubai International Airport (DXB) announced that they have limited the number of arriving flights from noon on Friday, Apr. 19 for 48 hours.

The airport authorities shared the news on their social media.

Earlier in the day, DXB had announced that they have limited inbound flights, while departures continue to operate.

However, the recovery process seems to be taking longer, which has led to DXB's recent announcement.

Emirates also announced that they have suspended check-in for all passengers with onward connections through Dubai until 11:59 p.m. GMT, Apr.19 (03:59 a.m. Dubai time, Apr. 20).

Passengers with connections in Dubai will only be accepted if their flight is departing after 11:59 p.m. GMT on Apr. 19.

Passengers already in Dubai and in transit will be allowed to board their flights.

Air India also announced the cancellation of all their flights to and from Dubai because of the operational disruptions at DXB.

People scheduled to travel from or to Dubai are advised to check in with their airlines for updates on their flight schedules.
