Dubai to Host 3rd Saudi Green Initiative Forum During COP28

The Saudi Green Initiative announced the launch of the third edition of the Saudi Green Initiative Forum, which will take place on December 4th during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Expo City in Dubai.

The forum highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment and ongoing efforts to support the global climate change agenda and take tangible steps to solve environmental concerns.

The third edition intends to build on the achievements of the second edition, which took place in conjunction with the COP 27 Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, last year and saw the announcement of significant climate action projects.

These included the construction of a regional center to support initiatives to reduce carbon emissions in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the opening of the Knowledge Centre for the Circular Carbon Economy.

In addition to debating the most effective strategies to address climate concerns, the third edition of the event brings together a galaxy of powerful global figures, thought leaders, and climate specialists from around the world.
