Dubai has once again secured the top spot in the Global Power City Index (GPCI), earning recognition as the world's cleanest city for the fifth year in a row. This prestigious achievement, issued by the Institute for Urban Strategies at the Mori Memorial Foundation in Japan, highlights the city's ongoing commitment to sustainable urban development and environmental excellence.

The emirate's performance surpasses that of over 47 other cities globally, with Dubai achieving 100% satisfaction in the cleanliness metric, which is part of the broader environmental pillar used to assess cities worldwide.

The city is renowned for its integrated urban strategies, particularly the Dubai Integrated Waste Management Strategy 2041, which aims to reduce waste production by 18% and ensure 100% diversion of waste from landfills by 2041.
