Everything You Need to Know about Dubai Marathon 2025 

Running to the Edge of Glory, the Dubai Marathon offers various race categories, from the full marathon to the 10km road race and the 4km fun run. How to Join Dubai Marathon 2025? 

Ready to run like a champ? Register online through the Dubai Marathon official website—pick your race, read the rules, pay online, grab your race number, and get pumped for race day! Whether you’re sprinting through the Marathon, conquering the 10km, or cruising in the 4km Fun Run, Glory is just a few clicks away! The entry fees are as follows. Lace-up, let’s make some memories! 

• 42.195km Marathon: AED 551.07, 18 years and older, race starts at 7:00 AM  
• 10km Road Race: AED 312.27, 15 years and older, race starts at 8:15 AM  
• 4km Fun Run: AED 183.69, open to all, race starts at 10:30 AM 

Pick Up Your Race Number at Adidas Dubai Mall 

Get ready for the Dubai Marathon by picking up your race number at the Adidas store in Dubai Mall! From January 8 to 11, you can collect your number during the following times: Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Don't forget to bring your ID with you to ensure a smooth pick-up process. It’s the first step toward crossing that finish line! 

Start and Finish Lines of Dubai Marathon 

The Marathon and 10km races will kick off and conclude on Umm Suqeim Road, directly opposite Madinat Jumeirah, with the Burj Al Arab as a backdrop. Both races start at the Madinat Jumeirah end of Umm Suqeim Road. The 4km race begins on Al Sufouh Road, near Madinat Jumeirah. All races will finish at the Dubai Police Academy end of Umm Suqeim Road. 

Race Schedule and Start Times 

The race schedule for the Dubai Marathon is as follows. Be sure to arrive early for your race and enjoy the incredible atmosphere of one of Dubai's most exciting events! 

• Marathon Elite: 6:00 AM 
• Marathon Masses: 7:00 AM 
• 10km Road Race: 8:15 AM 
• 4km Fun Run: 10:30 AM 

Water Stations to Keep Runners Hydrated 

Stay hydrated and race strong at the Dubai Marathon! Water stations will be strategically placed along the route to ensure you stay refreshed throughout your journey. For the Marathon, water stations will be available every 2.5km from 5km to 40km and at the finish line. The 10km Road Race will have water stations at the 3km, and 8km points, and at the finish. Lastly, the 4km Fun Run will have water stations at the finish line. Keep your energy up and race to the finish! 

Dubai Marathon Prize Money and Rewards  

The Dubai Marathon is proudly sponsored by the Dubai Sports Council, offering exciting prize money for top finishers! The prize pool varies depending on your position, from first place to tenth. So, whether you’re aiming for the top or striving for personal bests, there’s plenty of glory to chase! 

• Open Marathon: prize money is from AED 5,509.05 to AED 293,816.00 
• UAE Nationals Marathon: prize money is from AED 7,345.40 to AED 18,363.50 
• 10km Open Marathon: prize money is from AED 3,672.70 to AED 14,690.80 

Furthermore, whether you participate in the Marathon, the 10km Road Race, or the 4km Road Race - you will receive an official race T-shirt, a medal for finishing the race, and an electronic participation certificate that you can download online. 

More Things to Keep in Mind  

In addition, there are a few important details to keep in mind. This includes medical support, temperature, toilets, baggage facilities, and post-race entertainment options. Learn about them below.  

• Temperatures will be approximately 10-15 degrees Celsius on the race day.  
• Race timing will be tracked using a "MikaTag" attached to the race bibs. 
• Toilets will be conveniently located at every 5km point and the Marathon's finish line. 
• An ambulance and medical station will be available every 5km of the Marathon route along with medics at every intermediary station. 
• Marathon and 10km runners will be offered baggage facilities. 
• Entertainment options will be lined up at the finish line, including food and beverage facilities.
