With Ramadan starting on March 1, Dubai is set to transform into a vibrant hub of festivities. Malls will remain open late into the night, offering shoppers and visitors extended hours to enjoy cultural performances, pop-up markets, and special dining experiences.

Fireworks and Light Shows to Brighten Up the Nights

Dubai’s skyline will light up every Saturday with dazzling firework displays at key locations. Al Seef will host fireworks on March 1 and 8, followed by Dubai Festival City Mall on March 15. The celebrations will wrap up at Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR on March 22.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Ramadan Reflections will bring stunning light and sound projections to Al Seef and Dubai Festival City Mall. Roaming cultural performances, including traditional BuTbaila dancers and live Oud and Qanoon music, will also take place across various locations, including The Outlet Village, Mirdif City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, and Hatta Heritage Village.

Ramadan Markets and Community Gatherings

Dubai’s Ramadan markets will create a lively atmosphere filled with shopping, food, and cultural experiences.

  • Ramadan at the Park – A brand-new event at Zabeel Park Amphitheatre from March 6 to 23 will feature iftar and suhoor dining, a daily Ramadan cannon by Dubai Police, retail pop-ups, cultural showcases, and family entertainment. Open from 5 PM to midnight on weekdays and until 1 AM on weekends.
  • Ramadan District Market – Taking place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Plaza Terrace from March 8 to 23, this free-entry event will offer shopping, entertainment, and food from 5 PM to midnight on weekdays and 1 AM on weekends.
  • Ripe Market at Academy Park – Open every Saturday and Sunday, this market will host over 100 vendors, Ramadan-themed workshops, henna art, and a variety of dining options.
  • Ramadan Street Food Festival – From March 6 to 23, Sheikh Hamdan Colony in Karama will transform into a foodie’s paradise with 55 restaurants, live music, calligraphy, and henna artists, open daily until 2 AM.

Expo City and Global Village Celebrations

  • Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai – Running until March 27, this event will offer camel rides, live entertainment, and dining experiences under the Al Wasl Plaza dome. Tickets are priced at Dh35, redeemable at the market.
  • Ramadan Wonders at Global Village – Featuring 30 pavilions and over 3,500 outlets, this celebration will showcase traditions from 90 cultures. Visitors can also enjoy international dining, cultural entertainment, and the Ramadan Step Challenge.

Retailers across Dubai will be offering exclusive discounts and promotions during Ramadan. Shoppers at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, and City Centre Deira who spend Dh300 or more can earn 10X cashback on the SHARE app and enter a weekly draw to win Dh50,000 in SHARE points.

Dubai Festival City Mall’s Ramadan at Festival Bay will feature food trucks, live performances, cultural activities like henna and calligraphy, and a spend-and-win campaign where visitors spending Dh300 or more can enter a weekly draw for Dh10,000 in gift cards.
