Coldplay in Abu Dhabi: Entry Timings, Shuttle Details & More

Coldplay is set to rock Abu Dhabi with their sold-out performances on January 9, 11, 12, and 14 as part of their Music of the Spheres world tour. Fans are advised to arrive early and prepare for strict entry rules, as announced by the event organizers.

Entry Timings and Fanzones

Fanzones at Zayed Sports City Stadium will open at 3 PM for all attendees, with general entry starting at 5 PM. The final entry cut-off is at 8:30 PM, so fans should plan accordingly to avoid delays.

Coldplay’s performance will kick off at 7:45 PM, preceded by opening acts. French hip-hop artist Shone will perform at 6 PM, followed by Palestinian singer-songwriter Elyanna at 6:30 PM.

No Parking at the Venue

There will be no parking available at or near the stadium. Fans are encouraged to use the free park-and-ride shuttle buses to reach the venue.

From Dubai

Shuttle buses will depart from Expo City Dubai starting at 12:50 PM.

From Abu Dhabi

Buses will leave from Al Shahama, Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, and Nation Towers starting at 1:57 PM.

Seats on buses from Expo City Dubai and Al Shahama are on a first-come, first-served basis via Ticketmaster. Return shuttles will operate after the concert to all departure points.

Important Ticket Information

Fans must download and save their scannable tickets from Ticketmaster to their mobile devices. Tickets will be available 72 hours before the event and will include a unique QR code. Entry is only allowed through the gate specified on the ticket.

Tickets will not be sold at the venue, and fans are warned against buying from unauthorized resellers to avoid counterfeit tickets.

Event Rules and Guidelines

  • Children under 5 are not permitted.
  • Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older and are not allowed in the pitch standing area.
  • Only small bags (A4 size or smaller) are allowed inside.
  • The venue is cashless, so attendees should bring credit/debit cards or use mobile payment options.
