Burj Khalifa Hosts First Boxing Event This April

The iconic Burj Khalifa is set to add another milestone to its list of achievements this April as it prepares to host its inaugural boxing event.

On Friday, April 26th, OnlyComms, a leading live sporting events company, will present a white-collar boxing night at the Armani Pavilion, offering spectators a unique experience of witnessing thrilling bouts in the shadow of the towering landmark.

A dozen bouts are scheduled for the event, featuring two dozen aspiring athletes from various sectors such as real estate, recruitment, and finance. Participants, including representatives from renowned companies like Allsopp&Allsopp, Betterhomes, and Haus & Haus, have undergone rigorous training at Dubai Marina’s JC Boxing Academy to prepare for this momentous occasion.

Among the scheduled fights, there will also be an exciting female bout, adding diversity to the night's lineup.

James McDonald, co-founder of OnlyComms, expressed excitement about bringing this unique sporting spectacle to Dubai, emphasizing the city's reputation for hosting world-class events. The event aims not only to entertain boxing enthusiasts but also to inspire individuals to pursue their passion for sports and fitness.

Tickets for the event start from Dhs440 for general access, with options to upgrade to include a three-hour unlimited drinks package or VIP access. VIP tickets, priced at Dhs1,320, offer exclusive access to the VIP area and complimentary drinks. Additionally, all ticket holders will gain entry to the after-party at Burj Khalifa’s 3BK restaurant and lounge.

This event marks the fourth installment in the OnlyComms Fight Night series, with details about the fifth and final Fight Night set to be revealed during the event.
