In light of shifting the study to the distance education system in UAE schools, the Federal Authority for Government and Human Resources (FAHR) has announced on Thursday, 30 December 2021, that employees working in federal entities can work-from-home if they meet the following situations:
- Women whose children are enrolled in Grade 6 and below.
- Women with children of determination or those suffering from chronic diseases.
- Male workers can also opt for remote working module if their wives work in the health or education sectors.
Note that the work-from-home option will be granted only if it won't affect the overall workflow, and this option is not allowed for mothers working in health or education sectors.
