Women Invested Over AED 58 Billion in Dubai Real Estates in 2022

Women in Dubai increasingly participated in real estate investments in 2022 according to Dubai Land Department (DLD). A total of 26,698 female investors registered 33,419 real estate investments worth over AED 58.8 billion in the past year in the emirate.
According to (DLD), the number of women investing in real estate growing 50.7 percent in volume and 53 percent in value from 2021. Furthermore, the gender balance across different economic sectors emphasizes that UAE is set to achieve its goals of Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Women currently make up 42 percent of the total employees working at DLD.
Women not only contributed to the real-estate sector with investments, but they also contributed as developers, real estate brokers, and employees in real-estate companies.
DLD’s data showed that women are 34.8 percent of registered real estate brokers. A total of 4,519 women brokers have contributed to 8,606 transactions worth AED 696 million.
In 2022, annual real estate transactions in Dubai crossed the half-a-trillion dirham milestone for the first time as a result of 122,658 real estate transactions, which were valued at AED 528 billion.
