Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to Launch Flights to Beirut
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will start flights to Beirut, Lebanon in June, the airline said on Tuesday, Mar. 18.
The airline will launch three flights a week from Abu Dhabi to Beirut on Jun. 4, using its Airbus A321 narrow-body aircraft for the flights.
The aircraft has 230 seats, meeting the high demands for travel to Lebanon. The price for the one-way ticket from Abu Dhabi to Beirut starts at AED 359, which is 40 percent cheaper than current flight prices, according to Wizz Air.
The airline also launched flights to Gabala, Azerbaijan, which will begin on Jun. 19. To accommodate these new flight routes, Wizz Air has suspended flights to Athens for the summer season.
