Urging private sector enterprises in the UAE to embrace flexibility, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) recommended extending adaptable work arrangements on Tuesday due to persistent heavy rain affecting various regions.

Through its official social media platform, MoHRE emphasized that companies intending to resume "outdoor work" must implement essential safety measures.

The ministry underscored the importance of prioritizing the well-being of workers during their commute to and from outdoor work sites.

The advisory aimed to ensure that companies consider the potential challenges posed by inclement weather and take proactive steps to safeguard the health and safety of employees.

By encouraging businesses to adopt flexible working patterns and prioritize safety measures, the ministry addressed the impact of adverse weather conditions on operational activities and demonstrated a commitment to protecting the welfare of the workforce.
