The first "pink supermoon" of 2021 will be visible to see on Tuesday and Wednesday night in the UAE after midnight.
According to NASA, this is the first of two supermoons expected to appear in 2021 with the second appearing in May.
Both moons are expected to be 14 percent larger due to their orbits being at the closest point to Earth as well as 30 percent more luminous during this holy month of Ramadan.

“In the 1930s, the Maine Farmer's Almanac began publishing American Indian moon names for the months of the year,” said US space agency Nasa.
“According to this almanac, as the full moon in April, this is the pink moon, named after the herb moss pink, also known as creeping phlox, moss phlox, or mountain phlox. The plant is native to the eastern United States and is one of the earliest widespread flowers of spring.”
Nasa said other names for this moon included the "sprouting grass moon", "egg moon" and "fish moon".
Wednesday, the final day of the full moon, will rise at 8:24 pm in Dubai, setting at 7:29 am the next day.
The next supermoon “The Flower Moon”, is expected to appear exactly a month later on May 26.
