The 75th Emmy Awards, an award show that honors the best TV shows, will take place on Jan. 15 at the Peacock Theatre at LA Live in Los Angeles.
The awards show will be broadcast on the US Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Fox.
The new date means that the Emmys will take place weeks before the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which celebrates film and television actors.
The Emmys will take place four months after the originally planned date and they will held in the same month as other ward shows such as the Golden Globe Awards and Critics Choice Awards.
The awards show has been postponed due to ongoing strikes by actors and screenwriters.
The strike is in its 101st day and there seems to be no end of it in sight.
The series 'Succession', 'The Last of Us', and 'The White Lotus' have racked up 74 nominations for the Emmys.
However, no host has been announced yet for the awards ceremony.
The Emmys will become a two-weekend affair because the Creative Arts Emmys will be hosted on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7.
An edited version of that ceremony will be aired on Fox on Jan. 13.
