Even though you can't visit everything in Doha in only one day, you may still try some of the best things to do.

Grab a coffee in Msheireb Downtown Doha

You'll need to refuel if you want to fit in all the must-see attractions in only 24 hours in Doha, and Msheireb Downtown Doha is the best option for a morning cup of coffee. There are several excellent venues to enjoy a cup of coffee in Doha, like Arabica, Savant Cafe, and The Ministry of Coffee, which highlight the best of contemporary living.

Visit Souq Waqif

In all honesty, you could spend your entire 24-hour stay in Doha simply exploring Souq Waqif and yet not see everything it has to offer. Get a price reduction, take a picture next to the well or with the famous spiral mosque in the background, or have a meal while observing passersby at one of the eateries in Souq Waqif. Avoid skipping the Souq Waqif Art Center, where, if you're lucky, you'll see one of the resident artists at work on their most recent piece (and, even if you're not, you'll be able to admire pieces from Doha-based painters on display).

Enjoy the view of the West Bay skyline in the city from MIA Park

You can stroll to MIA Park from the corniche by using another underpass, this one leading there. Traditional dhows and public artwork, such as the Pearl Monument, can be seen on the journey. Normally, we'd advise you to visit the Museum of Islamic Art, but it's closed for renovations right now and won't return until October. However, it doesn't matter because the park is (in our opinion) the best place to view the West Bay skyline from, and it is well worth making time for a visit during your 24-hour stay in Doha.

Have your lunch at JIWAN or Thalatheen

JIWAN is one of the hottest eateries in Doha, so forget about the expensive and unimpressive food you would anticipate from museum cafés around the world. Alain Ducasse designed the cuisine, which includes regional specialties with a modern twist. Our favorite feature, though, has to be the outside terrace's view of the National Museum of Qatar and the surrounding city. Vegan or vegetarian? Instead, have a look at Thalatheen, which is right outside the museum's entrance.

Wander around the Qanat Quartier

The Qanat Quartier is Doha's rendition of Venice, replete with canals and a replica Rialto Bridge, and is possibly the most famous part of the city. Don't forget to visit the piano stairs, then head over to the bridge close to the Gondola Palazzo residential complexes for a breathtaking view of the Katara Towers.
