A new entry permit for citizens of GCC nations entering Dubai was announced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs on Wednesday.

Individuals with work and residency cards that include their profession and a residency that has been in good standing for at least a year are eligible for this service.
The GDRFA stated, "This service has been activated to issue a prior online entry permit for travelers residing in the GCC countries, in order to ensure a smooth entry process into the UAE and streamline procedures.”
What do you need to apply for the entry permit?
1. The original passport.
2. Upon arrival, present the original residence permit issued by a GCC country.
3. A civil or labor card.
What is the process?
1. Log into the smart services through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Select the service.
3. Fill in the application.
4. Pay the fees: AED250 plus VAT (5%).
The permit will be valid after 48 hours.
