Each year has got a particular set of days; the Gregorian calendar is made of 365 days; however, every four years, we have one year that has an extra day of 366, but do you know why? And how was the year formed?
What is a Leap year?
A leap year is a year that has 366 days, where February is 29 days instead of 28 days; however, the earth's orbit entirely around the planet in 365.2422 days, not 365, but it does not make sense to include a quarter of a day in the year, so that is why the standard year is 365 and 1 year has got an extra day adding up all those quarters.
Is 2023 a leap year?
2023 is not a leap year as the last leap year was back in 2020, and it occurs every four years.
When is the next Leap year?
Leap years occur every four years so the next leap year will be in 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, and so on.

How do babies born on the 29th of February celebrate?
One of the rarest things in the world is to be born on the 29th of February, after all, it comes once every four years, legally many countries put it 28th or 1st, or March instead as their birthdate for ease of use of certificates, and legal documents, however, people who were born on this day can consider themselves one year older after 28th of February.
