The driver was closely monitored and recorded by traffic police officials, who then picked the ideal time to bring him to a stop in a secure location.
The driver was then fined AED 50,000 and given 23 black points, and the car has been confiscated.

In the video that the police have made public, the driver can be seen approaching the other car dangerously close and repeatedly braking after overtaking it.
The driver's actions, according to Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at the Dubai Police, are against both public morality and other road users' rights.
No one is above the law, he said, and aggressive reckless driving required a harsh response. As a result, Decree No. 30 of 2023 addressing traffic violations and the impoundment of vehicles was put into action.
