World-famous Ugandan performers 'Masaka Kids Africana' will inspire audiences with their smiles and vibrant dance moves from May 3rd to 7th at the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF 2023).
The Masaka Kids Africana group of Ugandan kids aged two years and over boast 3.45 million followers on YouTube, 7.8 million followers on Instagram and 5.5 million followers on TikTok.
They will bring their soulful tunes and dance moves to inspire audiences of all age groups at the 12-day at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
The 14th edition of the annual festival will stage multiple performances led by the young Ugandan artists from May 3rd to 7th during the 12-day festival under the theme ‘Train your Brain’.
The Sharjah Book Authority announced the launch of the 14th session of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, starting from May 3rd, 2023, and its activities will end on May 14th, 2023.
With regard to the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival 2023 awards, several competitions will be held targeting the talented. The most prominent of these prizes and competitions are: Sharjah Award for Children's Book, Sharjah Prize for Children's Book (for kids with visual disabilities) and Sharjah Audio Book Award, among others.

The reading festival will convene on Mondays and Thursdays at 10am to – 8pm.
It will also open its doors on Fridays from 4pm to 9pm.
On Saturdays and Sundays the festival will be held from 10am to 9pm.
