UAE's leaders celebrated the first International Day for Human Fraternity on Thursday reasserting their commitment to peaceful co-existence and dialogue.

February 4 was chosen as the day to encourage global tolerance, co-operation and conversation by the United Nations General Assembly last year. It marks the day Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Dr Ahmed Al-Tayeb, signed the Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
