More than four million insurance claims were processed using the platform "Riayati" in the last eight months, reflecting the remarkable advancements made by the UAE's digital healthcare platform for the National Unified Medical Record (NUMR) program.
An Average of 28,000 transactions per day were made by the platform resulting in Financial insurance claims processed through the platform totaling more than AED 1.2 billion. According to The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), ever since the platform launched eight months ago, in April 2022, an average of 26,000 requests a day and more than 4.9 pre-approval requests have been issued.

A total of 1,000 healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare centers, have access to the e-claims post office, along with more than 6,000 doctors and 40 paying agents.
According to Ali Al Ajmi, Director of the Ministry's Digital Health Department, the new system resulted in tighter monitoring of health insurance providers as well as improved performance and efficiency of claims processing, saving costs and shortening the work cycle.
