Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, has launched Xpress Lite fares for travelers between the UAE and India, allowing passengers to enjoy lower airfares and increased flexibility. The new offering includes discounted rates for baggage allowances and streamlined check-in processes.

Lower Airfares and Enhanced Convenience

Passengers opting for Xpress Lite fares can travel without check-in baggage, enjoying reduced airfares and hassle-free check-in experiences. The package offers a complimentary 3 kg cabin baggage allowance and discounted rates for pre-booked check-in baggage allowances of 15 kg and 20 kg, ensuring maximum flexibility and convenience for travelers.

Expanded Connectivity

Air India Express operates over 340 flights daily, connecting 31 domestic and 14 international airports. With 195 weekly flights between India and the UAE, including key destinations like Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain, the airline offers extensive connectivity options for passengers.

Focus on Gulf Region Connectivity

Aloke Singh, managing director of Air India Express, highlighted the airline's commitment to enhancing capacity and connectivity in the Gulf region, including the UAE. The carrier aims to improve accessibility for Gulf travelers from Tier 2 and 3 cities across India.

Flexible Baggage Options

In addition to the standard cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg, passengers on Xpress Lite fares can pre-book an additional 3 kg cabin baggage at no extra cost. For those requiring check-in baggage services, discounted rates are available for pre-booking 15 kg and 20 kg allowances. Passengers can also purchase check-in baggage services at airport counters.
