Gulf Medical University in Ajman turned its campus into a lively winter market, orchestrated entirely by its students. The purpose? To raise funds dedicated to aiding victims of the genocide in Gaza.

Students like Mubarra Sahar, a first-year student at the College of Nursing, brought a personal touch to the winter market. She showcased her mother's collection of 120 meticulously crafted crochet pieces, including tablecloths, keychains, bookmarks, and baskets. The handmade items, priced between Dh5 and Dh30, garnered an overwhelming response, with many students and teachers expressing their appreciation.

The funds raised from the winter market will be directed towards Emirates Red Crescent’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in Palestine, offering aid and assistance to those struggling with the aftermath of the war.
