UAE: Unemployment Insurance Registration Deadline Extended to October

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) in the UAE has officially made an announcement that fines for not registering for unemployment insurance will be implemented effectively on October 1st, 2023, instead of July 1st, 2023.
According to the ministry, the date for registration has been extended in order to give citizens and residents a chance to register and enjoy the benefits of the unemployment insurance scheme.
It also issued a reminder that the fine for not registering will cost citizens Dh400.
Employees have several options to register, they can register via the website http://iloe.ae , iloe smart application, Kiosk devices, ATMs, business service centers, exchange companies (such as Al Ansari Exchange), banking applications, telecom companies bill and via text messages.
