This initiative, announced by Marwan bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Land Department, aims to equip locals with specialized qualifications and strengthen their role in the nation’s dynamic property sector.
Speaking to Khaleej Times at the 2nd Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment 2024 in Dubai, bin Ghalita emphasized the sector's potential: “With over 400 vacancies in just one day, Emiratis should seize this opportunity to grow and contribute.”
The event, aimed at boosting Emirati participation in real estate, built on last year's success, which saw over 1,000 nationals employed. Companies like Dirham Real Estate and Al Ruwad Real Estate highlighted roles and flexible training programs to encourage young talent.
“While most focus on jobs, we empower Emiratis to seek additional income streams,” said Dirham’s owner, Omar Alshaiba. Arada Real Estate, also present, underscored its commitment to diverse opportunities, from marketing to hospitality.
This new academic major and employment push align with the UAE’s ongoing Emiratisation strategy, promising to open more doors for young professionals eager to make their mark in real estate.
