UAE Sends Five More Planes of Equipment for Field Hospital in Gaza

The UAE sent five more planes of equipment and supplies for the construction of the field hospital in Gaza.
This initiative increases the total amount of planes sent to Gaza to 16, which is part of UAE's Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation.
The cargo of these plans will be unloaded in El Arish in Egypt where all the supplies and equipment for the field hospital will be assembled.
The 150-bed field hospital in Gaza will include anaesthetics, surgery, gynaecology, and intensive care units, which will cater to both children and adults.
According to Gaza's health ministry, around 4,000 children have died in the conflict.
Medical facilities in Gaza are overwhelmed as medical supplies are running scarce because these facilities are constantly targeted and attacked, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported.
The UAE launched an airbridge over the past two days as part of its humanitarian operation to provide support to the people of Gaza.
A medical volunteer team of 160 medical professionals from the UAE will travel to Gaza and provide emergency care for the people there.
