The United Arab Emirates has dispatched 30 tonnes of urgent food supplies to war-torn Sudan to support families affected by the ongoing conflict.
This move comes under the directives of the Gulf nation's leadership as part of the UAE's commitments to humanitarian assistance and strengthening global cooperation and solidarity.
The initiative will contribute to international relief efforts and help ease the humanitarian suffering caused by the conflict in Sudan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) previously highlighted its partnership with other nations to advance the interests of the Sudanese people in a statement that emphasized the UAE's commitment to offering aid and support to nations in need.
The UAE has been working with the World Health Organization (WHO) to dispatch medical supplies from the International Humanitarian City in Dubai to Sudan.
