The 32nd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) will feature books worth AED 10 million that the UAE government will provide to school libraries.

The program, which is carried out in accordance with the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to foster a reading culture and enhance educational and cultural resources by making a wide range of books and reference materials available in UAE schools.

The UAE's dedication to culture and its strategic objective of promoting an educated and knowledge-driven society, where reading and learning are of utmost significance, are both highlighted by the funding's considerable increase from last year's gift of AED 6 million.

The gift is a reflection of the UAE government's long-standing support for the publishing industry and the larger cultural community, which was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father, during the inaugural edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair in 1981.
