UAE Residents Can Now Get an eVisa to Japan for AED 80
UAE residents are now eligible to apply for a short-term tourist eVisa to Japan for only AED80.

Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in March that all residents in the Gulf country are eligible to apply for the short-term eVisa.
The short-term eVisa is a 90-day tourist visa that permits single entry only.
Other countries that are eligible for the short-term eVisa include Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Mongolia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Africa, Taiwan, the UK, the US, Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, and Saipan.

However, Emirati nationals are able to travel to Japan visa-free since November 1st, 2022, and stay in the country for 30 days maximum.
