UAE President's Brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Passes Away

The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, mourns his brother, the Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan who passed away on Thursday as a result of health issues.
Flags will be flown at half-mast for three days, beginning today, Thursday, July 27th, and ending by the end of Saturday, July 29th, according to The Presidential Court announcement.
The Presidential Court reported that Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed had problems with his health on Saturday, July 22nd. "Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative, is going through a health problem. We pray to Allah Almighty to grant him quick recovery," the court said in a statement earlier.

Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was born in Al Ain in 1965, was appointed in June 2010 to serve as the representative of the ruler of Abu Dhabi. He was appointed to serve as the Department of Planning's Undersecretary in Abu Dhabi. He also served as Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's representative.
Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, a former member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council (ADCED), formerly had the position of chairman of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Port Authority.
