Several provinces in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan witnessed torrential rains and floods that resulted in deaths, injuries, and displacement. In this regard, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, ordered the provision of urgent relief aid to these areas to enhance their ability to face and overcome these challenges.

This relief aid included about three thousand tons of food supplies and tons of medical and pharmaceutical supplies, as well as tents to shelter the displaced. Also, the UAE relief teams are fully prepared to provide all kinds of humanitarian support, secure those affected and meet their needs as a result of the floods in their areas of residence.

This aid came within the framework of the UAE's policy, its civilized humanitarian vision, and its permanent initiatives to strengthen brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries.
