UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan marked UAE Flag Day with a grand flag-raising ceremony at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi, celebrating the unity, pride, and heritage represented by the national flag.
The event gathered high-achieving students from across the country, who joined the President to watch the flag ascend as the UAE national anthem filled the air.
President Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the UAE’s hope in its youth, emphasizing their role in the nation's future through their achievements and dedication. “With our youth’s hard work and aspirations, the UAE flag will always soar high,” he stated.
The ceremony’s location, Qasr Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi’s oldest historical site, stands as a symbol of the UAE’s rich heritage and development.

Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, raised the UAE flag at Qasr Al Watan. Sheikh Mansour expressed that Flag Day is more than a celebration; it is an emblem of UAE unity and pride.
“This day strengthens our national values and underscores our collective dedication to elevating the UAE, making the flag a symbol of dignity and progress,” he said.
