The UAE might host the world's first flying car race in the near future, according to the Chief Executive of Maca Flight Christian Pineau.

Maca Flight is the first hydrogen-powered flying race car producer and Pineau shared that the goal of the company is to organize the first real flying car race championship.

The Chief Executive has shared that the UAE is one of the top potential candidates for hosting the race.

Maca Flight unveiled the flying race car at the CES 2023.

The flying race car costs two million dollars and has a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour with zero carbon dioxide emissions.

The flying race car is a single seater and it will fly four to five meters above ground during the championship.

The first race is expected to have eight to ten participants, according to Pineau.

Maca Flight has partnered with Red Bull on this project and the former expects to organize the flying race car championship by the end of 2025.

The first race is expected to be in Dubai or anywhere else in the UAE.

Other GCC countries like the KSA, Bahrain, and Kuwait have also shown interest in the project.

The pre-sale of the first hydrogen-powered flying race car will start in a couple of months.

Maca Flight will train the people who buy the flying race cars.  The company will provide the buyers with a simulator and race track to train on.
