The UAE illuminated its renowned landmarks with the colors of the Russian flag in response to the tragic attack last Friday evening, on a Moscow concert hall.

UAE Stands in Solidarity

In response to this, the UAE stood united with Russia by illuminating several iconic landmarks in the colors of the Russian flag. On Saturday evening, notable structures such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Burj Al Arab, Sheikh Zayed Bridge, ADNOC Headquarters, and Abu Dhabi Global Market HQ were bathed in red, blue, and white lights.

Condemnation and Support

The attack in Moscow resulted in a tragic loss of 133 lives, with an additional 107 individuals critically wounded.

Prior to the symbolic gesture, the UAE had strongly condemned the attack, reaffirming its stance against all forms of violence and terrorism. The country emphasized its commitment to upholding international law and promoting security and stability globally.

Unified Support for Victims

This act of solidarity not only expresses the UAE's condemnation of the attack but also stands as a demonstration of support for the victims and their families in the aftermath of this tragic event.
