Sharjah is launching the UAE's first Holy Quran TV channel on Friday, August 16. This new channel will broadcast around the clock, offering viewers a continuous stream of Quranic recitations. The channel promises fresh and exclusive recitations from renowned reciters, along with daily khatmah broadcasts.

Educational Programs to Simplify Religious Concepts

In addition to recitations, the channel will air short educational programs designed to make religious concepts more accessible. These programs aim to enhance understanding of the Holy Quran, presenting its teachings in a way that resonates with today's audience.

Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's Latest Initiative

This new channel is part of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's (SBA) expanding media offerings. Initiated under the guidance of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the channel reflects his commitment to spreading Quranic teachings and providing meaningful religious content.

A Model for Religious Media

Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, SBA's director, highlighted the channel's role in setting a new standard for religious media in the UAE and beyond. Khalifa Hassan Khalaf, director of the Holy Quran Channel, emphasized that the channel will focus on khatmah and Quranic sciences, reinforcing SBA's leadership in purposeful media.
