UAE Issues Red Alerts and Reduced Speed Limit Due to Thick Fog

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted generally fair weather conditions with occasional cloud cover for today's forecast across the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Fog Alerts Across the Country
However, the NCM has also raised red and yellow alerts for specific regions due to dense fog. Residents are cautioned about reduced visibility, extending until 10 a.m. today.
Foggy Scenes in Video Footage
Video footage shared by the Storm Centre depicts thick fog blanketing Al Dhafra Road during the early morning hours, highlighting the severity of the weather conditions.
Temperature Dip and Road Safety Measures
The NCM expects temperatures to drop, particularly in the western areas of the country. In response to the foggy conditions, Abu Dhabi Police have implemented safety measures. They've announced a reduction in speed limits to 80km/hr on various roads: Mohammed Bin Rashid Road (Taff Bridge - Al Falah), Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (Al Smeeh - Al Shahama), and Abu Dhabi - Al Ain Road (Al Wathbah - Baniyas).
