The UAE Cabinet has recently approved a significant amendment to the executive regulations governing citizenship and passports.
Extended Validity
One of the primary changes introduced by the amendment is the extension of the validity period for Emirati passports from 5 to 10 years for individuals aged 21 and above.
Announcement by Sheikh Mohammed
The announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, through his social media platform following the Cabinet meeting on Monday.
