The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued orange and yellow alerts, warning people of unsteady weather conditions, as rain continues to fall in several areas of the UAE on Thursday.

Residents are urged to use caution before going outside. In locations where an orange alert is in effect, "hazardous weather events" are anticipated; the general public is asked to follow local authorities' warnings.

A video of vehicles navigating flooded highways in the country's east was posted on social media by the Storm Center account. Smaller vehicles seem to be almost completely submerged in the muddy waters.

A warning from the Ras Al Khaimah Police warns people to avoid "valleys, dams, and areas where water flows and collects."

Prior to this, the Interior Ministry released a weather advisory advising citizens to follow the law when the weather is unpredictable. The relevant authority emphasized to people that they should pay attention to weather reports from official sources and heed their recommendations and instructions.

The NCM predicted the potential for convective cloud development along with various intensities of rainfall from Wednesday through Saturday. Dubai, Al Ain, Sharjah, and Fujairah are among the places that could get rain in the next few days.
