Rainfall is expected in the UAE today over the east coast, due to a probability of some convective clouds forming by afternoon, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The centre forecasted that the weather in the UAE will be fair to partly cloudy at times, and it will be humid by night and Monday morning, with a probability of mist forming over some coastal and internal areas.
Residents shared videos and photos of rainfall hitting parts of the UAE early Sunday, before sunrise.
Clips showed stormy grey clouds gathering overhead as heavy rains poured, drenching roads and vehicles.
