Motorists in the UAE will see changes at the pump starting next month, as the latest fuel prices for July 2024 have been released.

From July 1, 2024, the cost of Super 98 petrol will drop to Dhs2.99 per litre, down from Dhs3.14 in June. Similarly, Special 95 petrol will decrease to Dhs2.88 per litre, compared to Dhs3.02 in the previous month. This adjustment reflects a 14-fils per litre reduction for both types of petrol.

In contrast, the price of Diesel will see a slight increase, rising by 1 fil to Dhs2.89 per litre in July 2024.

All prices include the standard five per cent VAT.

The UAE’s Ministry of Energy has been setting fuel prices based on average global prices since August 2015, transitioning from previously subsidized rates that protected consumers from international market fluctuations.
