On April 30, the UAE fuel price committee revealed the new petrol and diesel prices for May 2023. Effective from May 1, Super 98 petrol will be sold at Dh3.16 per litre, an increase from Dh3.01 per litre in April.
The UAE fuel price committee has announced the new petrol and diesel prices for May 2023, revealing that the cost of Super 98 petrol will rise to Dh3.16 per litre, while Special 95 petrol will cost Dh3.05 per litre, and E-Plus 91 petrol will cost Dh2.79 per litre. Diesel prices, on the other hand, will decrease to Dh2.91 per litre. In the previous month, the fuel price committee had decreased the fuel prices by 8 fils per litre after two months of consecutive increases.
The UAE's economy is expected to continue growing and achieve a growth rate of 3.9% by the end of this year. The inflation rate in the country is also predicted to decrease to 3.2% by the end of 2023, as a result of stabilizing prices and decreasing imported inflation, while local rents and wages are expected to play a role in this trend.
