For those who have Saturdays and Sundays as their weekends, this means that they will resume their work on Monday, July 3rd.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has set the same break days for public sector employees. This decision means that both private and public sector employees get the same amount of days for their Eid al-Adha break.
The moon sighting was confirmed on Sunday’s evening, according to Saudi Arabia's Committee for Sighting the Crescent Moon of Dhul Hijjah 1444 AH.
Thus, the first day of the holy month of Dhul Hijjah is today, June 19th, while Arafat day will fall on Tuesday, June 27th, followed by Eid al-Adha on Wednesday, June 28th.
Have a very happy and enjoyable Eid al-Adha break all of you!
