Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade, joined a special reception in Abu Dhabi to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and the Philippines. The event was hosted by Alfonso Ferdinand Ver, the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE.

During the event, Ambassador Ver praised the strong relationship between the two nations, noting the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In June, UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited Manila, where he met with Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. During the visit, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his deep appreciation for the contributions of the Filipino community in the UAE, acknowledging their role in supporting the nation’s growth and development across various sectors.
