In addition, the court mandated that she be deported from the nation after serving her sentence. The video clip in question was removed from both the social media account where it was posted and the mobile phone used to promote the offense after the government requested its possession.
The authorities also deleted her social media accounts and permanently barred her from using any information networks, electronic information systems, or other information technology tools, in addition to her imprisonment.
The Public Prosecution was made aware of the situation when the video degrading men and domestic workers went viral. The authorities immediately ordered her arrest after beginning investigations into the social media platform-circulating video clip.
Following a thorough investigation, the Public Prosecution accused the defendant of inciting hate speech and asked the right criminal court to punish her in accordance with the regulations of the Federal Decree-Law No. (2) of 2015 on combating discrimination and hatred in its referral decision.
