There’s so much to look for in the upcoming month in the UAE such as Expo 2020, the opening of Ain Dubai, and the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 amongst many. Most importantly, there are two more long weekends approaching us until the end of 2021.

The Prophet Mohammed’s birthday will fall on the 12 of the Hijri month of Rabi Al Awwal in October, which will fall around 18th but will be given as a day off on October 21 as per the official UAE holidays calendar announced earlier this year.

In December, the UAE will mark Commemoration Day on 30th November. In December 2, UAE will celebrate National Day, as this year it’s a special one for the 50th anniversary of the UAE.
We can expect a four-day weekend from Wednesday, December 1 to Saturday, December 4.
As always, the final and official dates and public holiday eligibility for public sector employees and private sector employees are always determined by UAE authorities.
